Clara Moore

Clara Bell Moore, age 79, long time resident of Porter, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 11, 2012 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. Clara was born on June 2, 1933 in Porter, OK and was the daughter of Paul and Ella (Bronson) Weaver. Clara owned and operated Moore's Upholstery Shop for 23 years until she retired. Clara and John H. Moore were united in marriage on May 16, 1960 in Tahlequah, OK and he later preceded her in death. Clara was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Porter. Clara enjoyed painting, sewing and she loved helping people. Clara is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Moore, her parents, Paul and Ella Weaver, two brothers, Donald Kilgore and Charlie Thomas, three sisters, Ruby Lucille Phillips, Bessie Mae Kilgore and Allie Dale Weaver. Funeral services for Clara are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Porter Free Will Baptist Church in Porter, OK with the Rev. Bobby Jenkins officiating.
