Christine Annette Todd fulfilled her destiny here on earth on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, surrounded by her family at the age of 85. She entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, greeted by generations of family and friends.
She was born on December 18, 1938, in Coweta, OK. She was the cherished firstborn of James Earl Easley and Audrey Fern (Friend) Easley. Christine's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and the love she shared with her family and community.
Christine's journey began in the small town of Coweta, where she attended school. On May 29, 1956, she married the love of her life, Ronald Todd. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children, Sandra, Norma, and Ronnie, who were the center of Christine's world.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Christine owned and operated several businesses throughout her life, including cafes, a grocery store, and a quick lube business, which she retired from in 2008 alongside her husband. Her work ethic and dedication to her ventures were matched only by her commitment to her family and those she loved.
Christine's culinary skills were legendary, especially her famous chicken and noodles, which brought comfort and joy to many. Her love for gardening and preserving food was a reflection of her nurturing soul, ensuring that her family always had the best of her harvest. Christine's passion for fishing with Ronald was one of the many joys they shared, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Her home was a haven, not just for her own children and grandchildren, but for many others in the community. Christine's generous heart knew no bounds, as she discreetly provided food, clothing, and shelter to those in need. Her protective and caring nature was a constant presence, offering a safe place and a warm embrace to anyone who needed it.
Christine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron, her parents, Earl and Audrey Easley, her sister, Wanda Woodward, her granddaughter, Wendy, three brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law.
Her legacy continues through her loving children, Sandra Rhodes and husband Travis, Norma Goodnight and husband Mike, and Ronnie Todd and wife Gypsy; her cherished grandchildren, Susan and Bill Crimmins, Jeramy and Brandi Rhodes, Amanda and Chris Berg, and Joshua and Tiffany Todd; her adored 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Delmar Easley; her sister-in-law, Fay Mills; and her devoted nephews and nieces, Randy Woodward, Doug Mills, Trisha Easley, Sherry Mills, Debra Younger, and Karen Stewart.
Christine's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and an unwavering spirit. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. Her light will forever shine in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
