Christian James Goree

On April 29th 1998 a beautiful baby boy entered this world unto Cornelius and Sherry Goree. Along awaiting his arrival were his siblings Candace, Jonathan, and Constance, later Cymani joined the family. He attended Mary White Elementary, kindergarten through fourth grade. He then transferred to Coweta Public Schools until he graduated. Growing up he always participated in various sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and track. Christian later attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma for some time until he started his career with Ferguson's. Christian was a true believer in Christ. He accepted Christ at an early age. Christian was a member of Jackson Grove Baptist Church. He also attended Life Church frequently. Christian enjoyed being around his family, especially spending time with his daughter, Cambrie. His hobbies included working out, detailing cars, riding ATVs and motorcycles. His main interest was maintaining his appearance (staying swaggy). Christian is preceded in death by two brothers Cornelius Jr. and Cameron Lane Goree, two grandfathers Papa Hoppy and Papa John, and lastly a grandmother, Sandra Goree. Christian leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Cambrie (Baylie). Parents Cornelius and Sherry Goree. His brother and sisters Candace, Jonathan, Constance, and Cymani Goree. His nephew Zaylen Goree. His grandparents Gloria Barnes and Robert Goree. His great-grandparent Helen Brewer. A host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A special acknowledgement to his close friends Kelandus Culton and Kaleb O'Hara. A Celebration of Christian's Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Ruthie Penny McKittrick officiating.
