Cheryl Diane Sherry, age 65, resident of Haskell, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, October 15, 2022 at her home in Haskell, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 17, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bob G. and Geneva (Thomas) Hurst.  Cheryl attended Coweta Public Schools and then went to Carl Albert College, where she obtained an Associate degree in Nursing.  She married Joseph L. Sherry on October 30, 1974.  Cheryl was a Registered Nurse for various hospice companies for 22 years.  She was a member of Bethel Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, and she loved spending time with her family.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Joe Sherry of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; her sons, Justin Sherry of Oklahoma and Dillon Sherry of Haskell, Oklahoma; her mother, Geneva Hurst of Haskell, Oklahoma; her grandson, Maddox David of Haskell, Oklahoma; her sisters, Debbie Jackson and husband Steve of Coweta, Oklahoma, Donna Young of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Tracy Swarer and husband Jimmy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews, Devin Hurst, Carrie Gray, Lindsay Barnett, Josh Swarer, and Jacob Swarer; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Bob Hurst, her brothers, Steve Hurst and Matt Hurst, and her nephew, Bobby Hurst.

A private family service will be held for Cheryl.
