Charlotte Roach

Charlotte Rebecca Roach of Coweta, age 73, passed away Tuesday morning, February 7, 2012 at CedarCrest Care Center in Broken Arrow, OK with her family members at her bedside. Charlotte was born on July 18, 1938 in Tulsa, OK and was the daughter of Elmer and Gertrude (Graff) Barton. She was a graduate of Webster High School in Tulsa, OK. On June 28, 1955, Charlotte married Joe. B. Roach and they later divorced. Charlotte was a self-employed delivery service driver for 15 years. Charlotte was an active member of the Red Hat Society. Charlotte enjoyed doing arts and crafts, playing video games, camping, and attending church at CedarCrest Care Center. Charlotte is lovingly survived by her five children, Rena Watkins and husband, Ronnie, of Coweta, Shelia Roach and husband, Enrique, of Broken Arrow, Joe D. Roach and wife, Londa, of Broken Arrow, Kathleen Alabbasi and husband, Bob, of Broken Arrow, and Alycia King of Owasso; two sisters, Lois Fryhover of Wagoner and Patsy Mulcahey of Cedarville, Michigan; four brothers, Dan Barton of Edmond, Jack Barton of Wagoner, Phillip Barton of Claremore, and Jerry Barton of Mannford; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ricky Wayne Roach, two granddaughters, Misty Dawn Roach and Lisa Marie Roach, and one great granddaughter, Malayna Marie Blakley. Funeral services for Ms. Roach are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Kane Roach, Kyle Roach, Lyle Blakley, Logan Blakley, Storm Charlton, and Ben Randall. Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Charlton, Steve Hale, Enrique Roach, Bob Alabbasi, and Alex Alabbasi.
