Charlotte Ann Morris

December 17, 2012 Charlotte Ann Morris passed from this life on December 14, 2012 in Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 20 days. She was born on June 24, 1942 in Cherokee, AL to Lloyd and Berta "Cleo" (Davis) Simpson. Charlotte was the co-owner and operator of the J 7 C Carpet Service Company for the most part of her life. She loved to sing and spend time with her beloved dogs, Boomer and Ginger. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to pull weeds! She found it therapeutic and when she finished her yard, she would move to the neighbor's house and start pulling their weeds. Charlotte was a wonderful mother, grandmother and GG and we will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Cleo Simpson;
husband, Jerry Howell; her brother; sister, Virginia Tyler; and great granddaughter, Macie Nail. Charlotte is survived by her brothers, Leon Simpson and Gene Simpson, both of Port Orchard, WA; sisters, Elaine Selman of Edgewater, FL and Judy Westfall of Hazelhurst, GA; son, Dee Morris of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Nikki Clowdus and husband Roger of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Alexandra Morris, Duncan Morris, David Morris, all of Woodstock, GA, Kody Clowdus of Turley, OK, Klynna Nail and husband Chad of Ft. Gibson, OK; great grandchildren, Koie Nail and Kannon Clowdus; and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Kennedy-Kennard Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK and a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Memorial park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa, OK with Chaplain Moss of Rivercross Hospice officiating. www.kennedycares.com
