Charles Nipper

Charles Wayne Nipper, age 71, of Coweta departed this life on Saturday morning, December 19, 2009 at SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on November 20, 1938 in Corning, Arkansas to Oscar and Lucille (Jackson) Nipper. Charles was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his family. He received his education in Cardwell, Missouri. Charles was a truck driver until he decided to retire. He and Neaoma Wright were united in marriage in June of 1960 in Bakersfield, California and they later divorced. On June 2, 2007, Charles moved from Muldrow, Oklahoma to Coweta, Oklahoma. His hobbies included gardening, hunting, fishing, and camping. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Charles is lovingly survived by his son, Vernon Nipper of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his two daughters, Kimberly Williams of Visalia, California and Merlene Altis of Coweta, Oklahoma; his brother, Billy Nipper of Van Buren, Arkansas; his three sisters, Linda Miley of Nashville, Tennessee, Peggy Wiggles of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Carolyn Tauley of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A graveside service for Charles will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta with Pastor Randy Wisdom officiating.
