August 11, 2011 Charles Nelson Harrel, Sr. of Broken Arrow, 68, entered eternal life May 30, 2011. He was born January 22, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to James Nelson and Helen Eileen (Wright)
Harrel. Charles grew up in Sheldon, MO and graduated from Sheldon High School as Valedictorian and was voted Most Likely to Succeed. He earned a basketball scholarship in college and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. A longtime carpenter and member of the Masonic Lodge, Charles enjoyed playing pool, fishing, hunting and golf. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Maggie Ruth (Harris)
Harrel; brother Paul James Harrel; parents: James and Helen Harrel; and grandmother Pauline Wright. He is survived by his loving sons: Charles Nelson Harrel, Jr. and daughter-
in-law Katherine Louise, and James Jack Harrel and daughter-in-law Shevonda Marie;
grandchildren: Levi James Harrel, Patrick Nelson Harrel, James Nelson Harrel II, Shaylynn Faith Harrel, Sarina Nichole Swift and Trevor Braxton Summers; stepdaughter Rachel Robinson; and his second wife Michelle. Visitation: 5-7PM Friday, June 3; service:
