Chandra Lynn Stenhouse

Chandra Lynn Stenhouse was born on July 30, 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to David DeWayne Stenhouse and Melissa Kaye (Lowery) Ivy.  Chandra began Melissa’s new world when she arrived weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 inches long.  Melissa was the happiest mom to welcome her bundle of joy into this world.  Melissa met and later married, Lester Dewayne Cade and welcomed Chandra in as his first-born daughter and cherished her dearly.  Later, Melissa met and married, Bill Ivy and he welcomed Chandra as his daughter as well.  Chandra was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Chandra was raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and graduated from Broken Arrow High School.  Chandra accepted Christ at an early age at Jackson Grove Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Chandra lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her two pets, Chloe and Tiger.  Chandra worked in the telecommunications industry.  Chandra enjoyed singing, shopping with her mother and sister, spending time with nieces and nephews, and she loved butterflies.  Chandra was liked and loved by all that knew her.

Chandra leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Melissa Kay Ivy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her father, David DeWayne Stenhouse of Washington; her sister, Raven Denise Cade of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her maternal grandmother, Carole Lowery; her paternal grandmother, Stephanie Stenhouse; her stepfathers, Lester Dewayne Cade and Bill Ivy, both of Coweta, Oklahoma; her uncle, Michael Stenhouse; her aunt, Melinda Stenhouse; and many other grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Chandra was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Odis Ray Lowery, Luella Patton, Nell Hawthorne, Milton Cade, Sr. and Mary “June” Cade; paternal grandparents, David Merle Stenhouse and Russellene Turnipseed; maternal great grandmother, Mary Scott; maternal aunt, Cora Mae Scott; and cousin, Mindy Cade.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Chandra’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Chandra will be laid to rest at Jackson Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  The service will be live-streamed at https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/49106 .

Masks are required and social distancing and other safety protocols will be followed.
