Cecile Mcdaniel

Cecile McDaniel, age 87, of Coweta passed away Friday afternoon, November 22, 2013 at The Village Health Care Center in Broken Arrow, Okla. Cecile was born on June 26, 1926 in Qualls, Okla. and was the daughter of Thomas Franklin and Samantha (Ragsdale) Watts. She and Edward Perry McDaniel were married on February 10, 1947 in Fort Smith, Ark. Cecile was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Broken Arrow. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, painting, doing church work and decorating cakes. Cecile is survived by her 6 children, Robert Edward McDaniel & wife, Connie, of Coweta, Okla., Danny Thomas McDaniel & wife, Sheri, of Sedgewick, Kan., Cecilia Ann Cates of Coweta, Okla., Beverly Carol Sears & husband, Kevin, of Nowata, Okla., Michael Lee McDaniel & wife, Teresa, of Coweta, Okla. and Sandra Kay Rombach & husband, Tony, of Haskell, Okla.; her son-in-law, Ted Beard; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cecile was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Sherri Lynn Beard, six sisters, one brother and one son-in-law. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, November 25, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1701 N. Hickory Ave., Broken Arrow, Okla. David Makin will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Okla. Pallbearers are Robert Heath McDaniel, Michael Ray McDaniel, Aaron McDaniel, Michael Shane Rombach, Adam McDaniel, Kevin "Buddy" Sears and Johnny Dale Rombach.
