Carolyn Webb

Carolyn Pace Webb of Wilton, Connecticut died Monday, July 19th at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. Born in Lake Village, Arkansas on April 27, 1937, Mrs. Webb was the daughter of the late Boomer and Jeffoline Pace and the wife of 54 years of Coweta native L. Gregory Webb, currently residing in Wilton, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her son Kyle L. Webb and her sister Kathie Carter. Mrs. Webb attended high school in Lake Village, Arkansas and was a music student at Oklahoma City University. She and her husband owned and operated Cumberland Marketing Associates in Wilton, Connecticut for many years. Friends and family remember her as an avid reader, a master of true Southern cooking, an accomplished musician and a devotee of the daily NY Times crossword puzzle. Her single greatest interest was her four grandchildren and their happiness. Mrs. Webb is survived by daughter Pamela, and her husband Douglas Taeckens and their daughter Kelsey of Southlake, Texas, her son Gregory Webb, his wife Heather and their son Grady of Gaithersburg Maryland, her daughter-in-law, Maura Webb and her children Matthew and Callie of Wilton, Connecticut, her brother, Edmund Pace of Bryant, Arkansas and sister, Joella Brown of St. Louis Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 at the First United Methodist Church of Coweta on August 14, 2010. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery. Family and friends will gather together in celebration of her life at Webb's Farm in Coweta.
