Carolyn Rathbun

Carolyn Joyce Rathbun was born on June 30, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas to Richard and Glynda (Mealer) Coursey. Surrounded by her family, she passed from this life on March 20, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 41. When she wasn't reading, especially books by Charles DeLint, Carolyn worked as a Landman in the Petroleum Industry. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, her children and her two beloved dogs, Samson and Gotti. Carolyn loved being near the ocean, sitting under a weeping willow tree and all things Winnie the Pooh, especially Piglet. Although her time on this Earth was short, she will forever be in our hearts. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Glynda Coursey. She is survived by her husband, John Rathbun, III; children, Jakob Muttoni, Lauren Rathbun, Ryan Muttoni, Abigail Muttoni, Myles Muttoni, and Linkoln Muttoni;
father, Richard Coursey; sisters, Victoria Colyer-Kerr and husband Don, and Antoinette Colyer-Criscuoli; father in law, John Rathbun, Jr; mother in law, Alyce Rathbun; and numerous other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carolyn's name to her favorite charity, B.A. Neighbors.
