Services celebrating the life of Carolyn Marie Laidley will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Tulsa Bible Church, 5838 S. Sheridan Road, Tulsa, OK 74145. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum in Tulsa, OK. Viewing will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Carolyn Marie Laidley, age 86, resident of Broken Arrow went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, November 21, 2018 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born on September 7, 1932 in Fort Atkinson, IA to Andrew and Marie (Tekippe) Hageman. She married the love of her life, Howard Donald "Don" Laidley on June 30, 1962 in Tulsa, OK. Carolyn worked at Phillips Petroleum and St. Francis Hospital as a Medical Records Technician. She and Don built Classic Mini Storage in Coweta where she has owned and operated it since 2001. She was a faithful and active member of Tulsa Bible Church. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband in 2010, Don Laidley, her parents, Andrew and Marie Hageman, one granddaughter, Brianna Laidley and three brothers, Howard Hageman, Don Hageman and Myles Hageman. Carolyn is survived by four sons and one daughter, Donald Skinner of Kenia, AK, daughter Jackie Slankard and husband, Mark of Tulsa, OK, Dennis Skinner of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Steve Laidley of Broken Arrow, OK and Mike Laidley and wife, Nancy of Queen Creek, AZ; two brothers, Herb Hageman and wife, Carol, of Decorah, IA and Dave Hageman and wife, Nancy, of Fort Atkinson, IA; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
