Carol Dopler

Carol Jean Dopler, age 59, resident of Coweta, a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, passed away Thursday morning, November 1, 2012 at her home in Coweta, OK. Carol was born on July 31, 1953 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of James and Dorthy (Baucom) Thomasson. Carol received her education in Coweta. Carol worked as head housekeeper for Holiday Inn for 12 years. Carol and William R. Dopler, Sr. were united in marriage on July 24, 1982 in Wagoner, OK and he preceded her in death in 2007. Carol enjoyed cooking, watching TV, fishing and she loved spending time with her family. Carol is survived her son, William Rudy Dopler, Jr. of Norman, OK; five brothers, Will Thomasson of Hitchita, OK, John Thomasson of Coweta, OK, Kelly Thomasson of Coweta, OK, Joseph Thomasson of Coweta, OK and Donnie Dennis of Hitchita, OK; three sisters, Dottie Hewitt of Catoosa, OK, Zina Hall of Harrison, AR, and Tonya Mitchell of Yukon, OK; one grandson, Vincent Dopler; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers. A graveside service for Carol is scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft.
