Carl Gene Brock

Carl Gene Brock, age 73, resident of Broken Arrow departed this life on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Carl was born on March 9, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri and was the son of Gerald Gene and Betty Jo (Gilliam) Brock.  He attended school in Joplin, Missouri.  Carl married the love of his life Sheila Kay Hendrix on August 22, 1969 in Miami, Oklahoma.  He was a glazer for many years until he retired.  Carl enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles.  Motorcycles were a huge part of his life.

Carl is survived by his wife, Sheila Brock of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his two sons, Chad Brock of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Brian Brock of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Gene and Betty Jo Brock; his brother, Tom Brock; and his sister, Linda Felker.

Viewing will be from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Carl’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Jason Atkins officiating.
