Carla Lynne (Leigh) Haines

Carla Lynne (Leigh) Haines, born February 17, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in her birth town of Tulsa. Throughout her 63 years, Carla was a woman of service, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family

Her education and life were rooted in Oklahoma, as she was a proud graduate of Will Rogers High School in 1978. Carla's devotion to her home extended in her interests, which included a passionate support for OU football and NASCAR. She also derived great pleasure from camping and savored her television time greatly. An expert homemaker, Carla carefully built an ever-welcoming, warm home.

Carla rejoins those who precede her in death; her father, Carlis Jay Leigh, her mother, Betty Lou (Estes) Leigh, and her brother, Larry Leigh. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her loving spouse, Walley Haines, her two daughters, Tiffany Childers (Daleyn) and Ashley Hughes (Nathan). Her legacy continues in her eight grandchildren, Tierra, Candice, Lyndsi, Jesika, Kimberli, Journie, Dakota, Tucker, and her two great-grandchildren, Jadelyn and Kaizer.

Reflecting back at her journey and the unforgettable memories she created, it’s evident that Carla's life was a personification of love and care.

A visitation for Carla will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta with the family present from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A service celebrating Carla's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma
