Candace (Hanlon) Kelley of Coweta passed away on Thursday morning, March 22, 2007 at Select Speciality Hospital in Tulsa. She was 53 years, 11 months, and 20 days old. Candace was born on April 2, 1953 in Norman, Oklahoma to Thomas and Johnnie (Briggs) Hanlon. She received her education in the Coweta school system and graduated from Coweta High School. She then attended Bacone College for two years and was named Valedictorian of her class. Candace worked as a x-ray technician at Tulsa Regional Medical Center for three years. She also worked for St. John Medical Center for two years. She enjoyed reading and being with her grandson. Survivors include her husband, Tony Kelley of the home, two daughters, Carlisa Cook of Sand Springs and Annie Chambers of Tulsa; four brothers, Steve Hanlon of Broken Arrow, Stacy Hanlon of Muskogee, Tracy Hanlon of Inola, and Tommy Hanlon of Broken Arrow; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta with Pastor Richard Hubbard , Rev. Ed Rutherford and Tracy Hanlon officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Coweta.
