Bobby Earl Shoultz, of Coweta, passed away on Monday evening, June 27, 2011 at his residence in Coweta, OK at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 25 days. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Bobby was born on July 2, 1936 in Pinehill, AL and was the son of James Milton and Lillie Mae (Davis) Shoultz. A proud veteran, he served in the United States Army. Bobby enlisted in the Army on July 27, 1954 and was honorably discharged on July 2, 1957. After serving in the Army, he attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Northeastern State University and Oklahoma State University where he received his Master's Degree. Bobby worked for Tulsa Technology Center as a teacher for 25 years and as a counselor for 15 years until his retirement. In 1999, he moved from Broken Arrow to the Coweta area where he has made his home for the past 12 years. Bobby enjoyed working on the farm, camping and riding motorcycles. Bobby is lovingly survived by his daughter, Brenda Day and her husband, Bryan, of Catoosa, OK; his son, Bobby Shoultz, Jr. of Broken Arrow, OK; his brother, Leonard Shoultz of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Ami Newkirk, Amber Price and Chad Day; one great grandson, Ryder Price; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Roy Shoultz, Oliver Shoultz and James Shoultz. The family will be present at a visitation on Friday evening, July 1, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service for Bobby will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain JR Espinoza officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Family and friends may sign the guestbook on-line @ www.wrightfh.net. Pallbearers are Frank Hays, C.J.
