Bobby L. "Bob" Cherry, age 66, of Coweta passed away Sunday morning, February 23rd, 2014 at his home in Coweta, OK. He was born on October 17, 1947 in Broken Arrow, OK and was the son of Emmit and Eunice (May) Cherry. Bob was a 1966 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. In 1981, he moved to the Coweta area where he has lived for the past 33 years. Bob worked at Turner Construction in Broken Arrow for over 15 years until he retired in 2007. He enjoyed hunting and riding horses. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Don Cherry, Roger Cherry and Randy Cherry. Bob is survived by 2 daughters, April Castens & husband, Terry, of Broken Arrow, OK and Jerilyn Plunk of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Judy Sparks of Wagoner, OK; 4 brothers, Ronald Cherry & wife, Brenda, of Broken Arrow, OK, Larry Cherry & wife, Cheryl, of Hulbert, OK, Jim Cherry & wife, Bambi, of Tulsa, OK and Rick Cherry & wife, Gayle, of Broken Arrow, OK; 3 grandchildren, Macy Plunk, Collin Plunk and Evan Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Viewing for Bob will be on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. There are no services planned for Bob.
