Barbara Deann "Bobbie" Sanders, age 73, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday morning, August 28, 2017 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. Bobbie was born on November 6, 1943 to Dortha M. (Reynolds) and Roy Edward Martin in Checotah, OK. She married the love of her life, James Richard "Jim" Sanders on October 7, 1960 in Coweta, OK. Bobbie was a beautician and owned and operated Bobbie's Beauty Shop for around 25 years. She then was a florist and owned and operated Dortha's Flowers & Gifts for around 16 years. Bobbie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta. She enjoyed traveling with family, painting, bowling, basketball, softball, camping and attending Londyn's softball games. She also loved going on trips with her girlfriends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dortha Martin. Bobbie is survived by her husband, Jim Sanders of the home in Coweta, OK; 2 daughters, Natalie Sanders of Muskogee, OK and Karen Knapp and husband, Bill "Paco" of Port Aransas, TX; 1 brother, Ronnie Martin and wife, Patty of Coweta, OK; 5 grandchildren, Johna Greer, Amanda Girty, Ryan Chesser, AJ Knapp and Garrett Knapp; 6 great grandchildren, Teagan Kauffeld, Addie Knapp, Londyn Girty, Anna Knapp, Saylor Southerland and Karter Grey Chesser; 1 sister-in-law, Joan Kay Richards; 1 brother-in-law, Jack Leroy Sanders and wife, Patsie; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 12-8 PM on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM. Services celebrating Bobbie's life will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. Terry Easley and Rev. Toby Easley officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Ryan Chesser, AJ Knapp, Garrett Knapp, Kenneth Girty, Eddie Reynolds, Rusty Martin, Gage Lehmann and Rusty Martin, Jr. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilyfuneralhome.com.
