August 11, 2011 Bobbie Eugene Benning of Broken Arrow, 70, entered eternal life February 17, 2011 in Tulsa. He was born June 29, 1940 in Brush Creek, AR to John Henry and Margaret Inez (Young) Benning. Bobbie served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He married Ella (Taylor) June 4, 1971 in Malvern, AR and together they created a wonderful family. A longtime carpenter, Bobbie was a good man who enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing slot machines. In addition to his loving wife Ella Benning of the home, he is survived by his son Bobby Craig Benning of Broken Arrow; daughter Annette Vining of Poyen, AR; stepsons:
Jerry Rimmer of Malvern, AR and Timothy Rimmer of Murfreesboro, TN; grandsons:
Michael Benning of Broken Arrow, Dakota and Taylor Rimmer, both of Tennessee, and John Luke Lampkins of Poyen, AR; granddaughters: Kristie Foster of Poyen, AR, Courtney Rimmer and Brandi Brown, both of Tennessee; great-grandsons: Trenton Brown of Tennessee, Michael Hanzley, Jackson Vining and Valyn Lawrence, all of Poyen, AR;
half-brothers: Bill Hays of Ocala, FL and Doug Benning of Little Rock, AR; half-sisters:
Carolyn Finley, Pat Hughes and Emogene Brodsky; and many nieces and nephews.
