Blayne Edwin Willsey, Jr., age 60, of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on April 10, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Blayne was born on March 9, 1948 in Waldron, Arkansas to Blayne Edwin, Sr. and Billie Bernice (Abbott) Willsey. He received his education and graduated from high school in the Whitesboro, Oklahoma school system. Blayne and Bernice Silk were united in marriage on August 9, 1988 in Miami, Oklahoma. He joined the United States Army on September 12, 1967 and was honorably discharged on September 26, 1969. Blayne worked as a machinist at Braden Steel and Verdigris Steel until his retirement in 2001. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He also loved spending time with grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Bernice, of the home; three sons, Mark Linch and his wife, Starr, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, David Linch and his wife, Gretchen, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Tommy Joe Linch and his wife, Alisha, of Cookson, Oklahoma; one daughter, Shannon Denny and her husband, Brent, of Catoosa, Oklahoma; one brother John W. Willsey of Goldendale, Washington; two sisters, Patricia Snow and her husband, Dale, and Billie Willsey both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel.
