Blanche Hurlbut

Blanche Hurlbut, age 93, of Broken Arrow, OK (formerly of Sioux City, IA) passed away Thursday evening, March 22, 2012 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. Blanche was born on August 3, 1918 in Sioux City, IA and was the daughter of William and Nancy (Hahn) Huffman. Blanche was united in marriage to Dexter Hurlbut on June 3, 1939 in Nebraska and he preceded her in death. Blanche was a homemaker for most of her life. Blanche enjoyed cooking, working puzzles, and watching football. Blanche is survived by six nieces and nephews, Cecilia Norris of Broken Arrow, John Huffman of San Marcos, TX, William Huffman of Le Mars, IA, Robert Huffman of Broken Arrow, James Huffman of Sand Springs, and Mary Moss of TX. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers. A private family service will be held for Mrs. Hurlbut.
