OBITUARY FOR BILLY EUGENE "GENE" PARTRIDGE
Billy Eugene "Gene" Partridge passed away January 20, 2018 in his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 85.
He was born July 7, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Ok. To Cecil George Partridge and Juanita Thompson Partridge. He grew up in the Agra/Avery, Ok area and graduated from Agra High School in 1950. He married Wilma Louise Breeden in September 1951, and three children were born of their union.
He was a licensed plumber for a large part of his life, and at one time owned Tip Top Faucet Parts in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was an avid music lover and a great musician; he played the bass guitar, guitar, banjo and piano. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He also was a member of the Friday Night Opry Band. He looked forward to his Tuesday Morning Breakfast with the members with the Servants Sunday School Class.
He loved all things football, and bled OU red. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Lula and Ruth Ann, and 2 brothers, Bob and Jim.
Gene is survived by his wife, Darline of the home, daughters Anita Harris and husband Mike and Sherry Boswell and husband, Steve and his son, Robert, stepdaughter, Karyn and husband, Raymond, and stepsons, Terry Burkart and David Burkart and wife, Joanna. Also surviving is his two sisters, Dorothy and Stella, and his 4 brothers, Jess, Virgil, Kenneth and Boyd, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
