Billy Gene Goree

Billy G. Goree was born on September 11, 1948 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Leon and Dora Mae (Jumper) Goree. Mr. Goree went to be with his Lord on April 10, 2017 at the age of 68 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Goree, Sr., mother, Dora Mae (Jumper) Goree and brothers, Leon Goree, Jr. and David L. Goree. At an early age, Billy professed his faith and gave his life to Christ at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Haskell, Oklahoma. While growing up in Haskell, Oklahoma, Mr. Billy Goree attended Booker T. Washington in Haskell, Oklahoma. He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Mayetta Fredrick (Victor) of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Floretta Bowman of Grandview, Missouri, Funtella Mayfield of Haskell, Oklahoma, Clarice Donaldson of Grandview, Missouri and Sharon Server (Melvin) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brothers, Johnny Goree (Geneva) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Robert Goree of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Chester L. Goree of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
