Bill G. Powers

August 26, 2013 Bill G. Powers of Broken Arrow, 83, entered eternal life August 23, 2013. He was born on March 29, 1930 to Fred Powers and Grace Cates in Coweta, Oklahoma. Bill was the Superintendent of Kiamichi Area Vo-Tech. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandsons. Bill loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his sister Josie Hawkins. Bill is survived by his loving wife Lois, children: Billy Lynn Powers (Nancy) of Tulsa, and Teena Marie Beach (Tim) of Broken Arrow, grandchildren: Trent Smith (Sara) of Broken Arrow, and Barrett Powers of Tulsa, great-grandchildren: Mackenna and Troy Smith of Broken Arrow, and his siblings: Jack Powers (Linda) of Claremore, and Treva Jamison (Bill) of Tulsa.
