Beverly Kate Leske, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 70 years. She was born on January 22, 1954, in Akron, OH to Isaac and Dorothy Wilson.
She completed her education at Chaffey High School in Ontario, CA, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Beverly married her soulmate, Norman Gerald Leske, on February 21, 1976, in California. Their union was blessed with love, laughter, and the joy of raising their children. The couple spent over 40 years in Hesperia, CA, before relocating to Coweta, OK, in July 2023, where they continued to build a life filled with cherished memories.
Beverly's heart was always at home, where she excelled as a devoted homemaker. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family as she also shared her talents with others through her work as a hairdresser. Beverly's hands were rarely still, as she found joy in quilting, creating beautiful pieces that will serve as lasting tokens of her love and creativity.
Family was the cornerstone of Beverly's life. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Leske, of the home in Coweta, OK; her son, Shane Leske, of Coweta, OK; and her daughter, Sarah Leske, of Broken Arrow, OK. Beverly's legacy continues through her nine grandchildren, Brandon, Alex, Josiah, Makenzie, Ryan, Meghan, Jake, Caden, and Grayson, and her great-granddaughter, Reyna. Each of them will carry forward her spirit of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Dorothy Wilson and her beloved son, Phillip Leske.
Beverly's affection for her family was matched only by her love for her dog, Beau, who was a constant source of joy and companionship. She cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren, whether it was sharing stories, imparting wisdom, or simply enjoying their presence. These moments will be held dear by her family as they remember the matriarch who guided them with a gentle hand and a generous heart.
While Beverly's physical presence will be deeply missed, her influence will remain a guiding force in the lives of her family. Her laughter, her unwavering support, and her ability to make each person feel loved and valued are the gifts she leaves behind.
In keeping with Beverly's wishes, there are no services planned.
