Betty Elliott

Betty June Elliott, age 69, of Coweta, OK passed from this life on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her home. She was born on February 4, 1940 in Vinita, OK to Dick and Viola (Johnson) Hill. Betty received her education in Vinita, OK and California. She and Chuck Elliott were united in marriage on November 9, 1956 in Tijuana, Mexico. They came to the Coweta area in 2004 from Langley, OK. Betty was a preschool teacher for the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK. Her hobbies included reading, dogs, and doing church work. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Leta Rudd. Betty is survived by her husband, Chuck of the home; one son, Danny Elliott and his wife, Becky, of Coweta, OK; one daughter, Debbie LeMaster and her husband, Von, of Grove, OK; three grandchildren, Morgan Elliott, Miranda Elliott, and Daymon LeMaster; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. David Jones officiating.
