Beatrice Maggie Medlin

August 11, 2011 Beatrice Maggie Medlin of Broken Arrow, 88, entered eternal life September 7, 2009. She was born September 2, 1921 in Mountain View, OK to John B. and Mae Hallie (Stapleton)
Martin. She was the youngest of 4 children, 2 of which died before the age of 4. Bea had 3 boys during her first marriage: Denver L., James L. and Anthony W. Gilliss. She was a farm wife and mother, working in the fields with her boys for several years. After the sale preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; her first husband Alvin L. Gilliss; second husband Richard J. Medlin; and 2 of her sons: Anthony W. and James L. Gilliss. She is survived by her son Denver L. Gillis of Tulsa, OK; niece Mary Lemon of Louisiana; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-granchildren. Bequests may be directed to Hometown Hospice, 804 S.
