Barbara Sue Fryer, age 72, resident of Broken Arrow was born on May 31, 1946 in Muskogee, OK and was the daughter of Elmer and Versie Lee (Ryker) Young of Ft. Gibson, OK, wife of Ian Dan Fryer, and mother to Matthew Ian Fryer. Bobbie went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, April 6, 2019 at The Baptist Village in Broken Arrow, OK. She married the love of her life, Ian Dan Fryer on February 6, 1967 in Mobile, AL. Bobbie and Dan owned and operated Dan's Pawn Shop in Broken Arrow, OK for many years. She was a member of Forest Ridge Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK where she was the pianist. She was very talented and enjoyed decorating. Bobbie is survived by three children, Kirt Fryer of Tulsa, OK, Terri Yonemura and husband Richard of Carlsbad, CA, and Rod Marten and wife Holly of Wichita, KS; one sister, Sandra Leach and husband Bill Ed of Ft. Gibson, OK; one brother, Ryker Young and wife Tina of Scottsdale, AZ; eight grandchildren, Charlie Fryer of Tulsa, OK, Mitch Fryer and wife Britt of Houston, TX, Misty Stansfield and husband Troy of Moore, OK, Ryan Fryer of Tulsa, OK, Alan Couch and wife Falon of Stigler, OK, and India, Sydney, and Aubrey Marten of Wichita, KS; and many, many other beloved family members and friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Ian Dan Fryer; her parents, Elmer and Versie Lee Young; and her son, Matthew Ian Fryer. Graveside services celebrating Bobbie's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Rev. Glen Rowan officiating.
