Audra Carmaletta Mantooth

Audra Carmaletta Mantooth, age 91, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, November 26, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Carmaletta was born on March 22, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jewel Cecil and Audra Clementine (Beasley) Lowe.  She attended Central school in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Carmaletta married the love of her life, Woodrow Mantooth on April 19, 1946.  She was a devoted homemaker for most of her life, who loved caring for her family.  Carmaletta was a member of the Coweta Assembly in Coweta, Oklahoma.  In her early 20’s, she gave her life to Christ and became an avid student of the Bible.  She enjoyed watching westerns, being at the pool, working in the yard, and spending time with her family.

Carmaletta is survived by two daughters, Billie Jo Mantooth and Shirley Jean Hamilton, both of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Rhonda Jo Vincent and Candace Jo Josie and her husband Shaun, all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Acea Vincent and Chloe Evans and her husband Dillon; two great-great grandchildren, Johnny Evans and Lyla Evans; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carmaletta was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Mantooth; her parents, Jewel Cecil and Audra Clementine Lowe; her son, Jimmy Mantooth; her brothers, Clyde Lowe and Otho Lowe; and her sister, Carolyn Lowe-Roberts.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma with the family present from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Graveside services celebrating Carmaletta’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
