Arthur C. Mcmillen

Arthur C. McMillen, age 72, resident of Coweta passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. Arthur was born on March 20, 1943 to Fred Frank and Margaret Loretta McMillen in Oxnard, CA. He was a 1961 graduate of Oxnard, CA High School. Arthur and Barbara Watson were married on June 5, 1970 in Oxnard, CA. He worked at GTE as a phone installer and at Coyote Enterprises, Inc as a welder until he retired. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and operating Ham and CB Radios. Arthur is survived by his wife, Barbara McMillen; 6 children, George McMillen, Teresa McMillen, Arthur McMillen, Charline Cates, Fred McMillen and Tammy McMillen; 2 sisters, Barbara Higgenbottom and Janice Rogers; 1 brother, Paul McMillen; 12 grandchildren, Rayna McMillen, Lee McMillen, Gentry McMillen, Justin McMillen, Trai McMillen, Christopher Lange, Courtney McMillen, Andrew McMillen, Shawn Beggs, Jonathan Cates, James Cates, and Katie Halliwell; 3 great grandchildren, Chase Cates, Colton Cates and Poppi McMillen; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and his great grandson, Cody Shanks. A memorial service celebrating Arthur's life will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the residence of Arthur and Barbara McMillen.
