Arnold D. Walker

Arnold D. Walker, age 88, resident of Porter, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at Eastar Health System in Muskogee, OK. He was born on Feb. 12, 1926 to William and Mae (Pilant) Walker in Hulbert, OK. Arnold was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He and Billie J. Dean were married on Aug. 29, 1969. He worked at McDonnell Douglas as a Dispatcher until he retired. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents and 14 brothers and sisters. Arnold is survived by the love of his life of 45 years, Billie J. Walker of the home in Porter, OK; 1 son, Henry Stahl of Drumright, OK; 1 brother, Granville Walker and wife, Gilberta, of Wagoner, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9AM - 8 PM on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating the life of Arnold will be at 10 AM on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Henry Stahl officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, OK. Pallbearers are Bobby Walker, Richard Hudson, Larry Hudson, Carthel Long, Mike Walker and Donald Stephens.
