Anthony Lee "Tony" Holland

Anthony Lee "Tony" Holland, age 64, resident of Coweta went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tony was born on August 28, 1953 to Vaughn Dean and Jesse Faye (Sutton) Holland in French Camp, California. He was a graduate of James Logan High School in Union City, California. Tony married the love of his life, Linda Sue Edwards on April 7, 1979 in Tracy, California. He worked at Lucky Stores in California as a grocery clerk for 30 years until he retired. After retiring, they moved to Coweta, Oklahoma where they have made their home for the past 12 years. Tony was a member of the Coweta Assembly of God. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, muscle cars and he loved listening to music and playing the drums. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn Dean and Jesse Faye (Sutton) Holland, his father-in-law, LeRoy Edwards and his brother-in-law, Dexter Edwards. Tony is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Holland of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Bobby Holland and wife, Rustine of Idaho; 1 sister, Vonda Hobbs and husband, Daniel of French Camp, California; his mother-in-law, Norma Edwards of Coweta, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Tony's life will be at 1 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Steve Lee officiating.
