Anna Evans

Anna Evans, age 78, of Coweta passed from this life on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Haskell Care Center in Haskell surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 13, 1930 in Hulbert, OK to Elmer Lee Moss, Sr. and Florence Jane (Rutherford) Moss. Anna was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She attended school in the Hulbert school system. Anna was a homemaker for most of her life. She and Thomas Ebern Warren were united in marriage in December 1948 in Hulbert, OK. Anna later married Bill Evans. Her hobbies included reading and crocheting. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter, Ophelia Gale Olden, three brothers, and one sister. Anna is lovingly survived by her brothers, B. J. Moss, Dudley Moss, and Elmer Lee Moss, Jr., all of Coweta, OK; her sisters, Jaulice Chalakee and Leona Vivian Foster, both of Coweta, OK; four grandchildren, Lloyd Olden, Misty DeShields, Dusty Olden, and Corey Olden; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Gibson Cemetery in Stone Bluff, OK with Rev. Kelly Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow.
