Ann Marie Scott

Anna “Ann” Marie Scott, age 87, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, February 3, 2022 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.  Ann was born on May 19, 1934 in Elijah, Missouri to Raymond and Effie (Howard) Hensley.  Ann attended school in Elijah, Missouri.  She was married to the love of her life, Howard Wesley Scott and they were blessed with three children, Sonny, Randy, and Rick.  Ann was a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Ann owned rental property from 1960 to 2022.  She enjoyed horses, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her family was her world and they meant everything to her.  She loved her family, and her legacy will live on through them.  Ann will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Ann is survived by her son, Randy Scott and his wife Kathy of Coweta, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Julie Scott, Randi Charboneau, Nathanial Scott, Seth Scott, Michael Scott; Kacey Roggendorff, and Chelsey Smith; five great grandchildren, Kaden Charbeneau, Kale Charbeneau, J Scott, Leona Scott, and Alexander Scott; her brother, Steve Hensley; her sister, Shirley Renshaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wesley Scott; her parents, Raymond and Effie Hensley; her sons, Howard “Sonny” Scott and Rick Scott; and her sisters, Lois Meadows, Faye Allen, and Ella May Slife.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM–7:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma with the family present to receive friends from 4:00–6:00 PM.  Services celebrating Ann’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church, 10442 S. 257th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74014.  Rev. Ed Rutherford will officiate the service.

Pallbearers are Kaden Charboneau, Kale Charboneau, Shane Hensley, Seth Scott, Nathanial Scott, and Robby Renshaw.
