Ann B. Charles

Ann B. Charles, 85 years, a resident of Broken Arrow for 65 years, passed away July 18, 2017 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. She was born February 6, 1932 at home near Vinita, OK. Ann was a homemaker until 1968 when she started work as a Tech in the Central Processing Department at St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. She retired in 1993 after 25 years of service as Supervisor. In 1992, Ann was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Gene. They were active members of the Good Sam's Club for many years. They loved camping, fishing, bowling, and dancing. No matter what they were involved in they always did it together. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Bessie and PJ Beisly, with brothers, Franklin, Buford, and Phil and sisters, Donna Gray, and Naomi Cauthon. Ann is survived by sister, Betty Jo of Claremore and brother, Richard Beisly of Kansas. She is also survived by her son, Steven Charles of Coweta, OK, daughter, Judy and son-in-law Tom Woosley of Broken Arrow, OK; grandsons, Tommy Woosley, Mitchell Charles, and Kennon Charles; granddaughters Kacy McElroy, Genie Clark, and Telessa Shell; Twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren with another due this coming October. In addition she leaves behind many loved family members, nieces, nephews, and friends. In her memory donations can be made to Clarehouse of Tulsa, on South Mingo Rd. A graveside service celebrating Ann's life will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Ghormley Cemetery in Pensacola, OK.
