February 7, 2012 Alma Brooks, 75, passed from this life on February 3, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 24, 1936 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Wilburn and Viola (Callahan)
Freeman. Alma was a resident of Owasso and enjoyed cooking, cleaning, birds, and most of all, being a mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn Freeman and Viola Callahan Freeman-Zahn; 4 brothers, Kenneth Freeman, Roy Freeman, James Freeman and an infant brother. Alma is survived by her husband, Billy G. Brooks of Owasso; children, Kent Moore of Apple Valley, CA, Lori Moore of Moreno Valley, CA, Rodney Moore of Apple Valley, CA, Keith Moore of Ontario, Canada, and Michelle Harvey of Owasso, OK; siblings, Paulina Forbes of Broken Arrow, OK, Wilma Pledger of Coweta, OK, Ernestine McMullen of Claremore, OK, Samuel Freeman of Nowata, OK, Floyd Freeman of Lamar, AR, Brenda Ellis of Claremore, OK and Linda Cross of Hope, AR; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2PM-4PM February 5 and a graveside service will be held at 2PM Monday, February 6 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, OK with Pastor Sam Freeman officiating.
