Albert Morris Taylor

Albert Morris Taylor, age 90, of Coweta passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his home in Coweta, OK. Albert was born on June 6, 1923 in Slick, OK and was the son of Henry Green and Lucy Mae (Finch) Taylor. He was a proud veteran of United States Army. Albert enlisted in the Army on October 27, 1945 and was honorably discharged on November 12, 1946. He and Frankie Louise Taylor were united in marriage and she preceded him in death on February 9, 2003. Albert worked as a Truck Driver until he retired. He enjoyed fishing and reading western books. Albert is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Mead & husband, David, of Smithland, IA and Judy Goodnight & husband, Lonnie, of Coweta, OK; 1 son, David Taylor & wife, Dana, of Wewoka, OK; 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, 2 sons, 2 daughters, 17 brothers and sisters, 1 grandson, 1 great grandson and 1 great granddaughter.
