Aaron Wade Dodson

Aaron Wade Dodson, age 41, of Coweta passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Coweta, OK. Wade was born on March 1, 1973 to Laura Ileene (Cypert) Dodson and Elmer Leon Dodson in Tulsa, OK. He was a 1993 graduate of Coweta High School. Wade was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1993 to 1994. He and Misty Sutton were married on July 17, 1999 in Coweta, OK. Wade enjoyed being a boy scout leader and soccer coach. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking. Wade was preceded in death by his grandparents and 1 aunt, Joyce Marie Cory. Wade is survived by his wife, Misty Dodson of Coweta, OK; his father and step-mother, Leon and Marianne Dodson of Coweta, OK; his mother and step-father, Ileene and Mitch Kelly of Eureka Springs, AR; 5 children, A.J., Cade, Autumn, Ireland and Zachary; 3 sisters, Angelia Guest and husband, Bryan, of Broken Arrow, OK, Jennifer Martins and husband, Drew, of Tulsa, OK and Amy Walkup of Sapulpa, OK; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Marilyn Jane Sutton of Coweta, OK; his brother-in-law, Larry Joe Sutton of Coweta, OK; his brother-in-law, Daniel Sutton and wife, Kristin, of Coweta, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services for Wade will be at 2 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Ryan Fankhauser and Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Drew Martins, Joe Sutton, Daniel Sutton, Heath Hill, Bryan Guest and Josh Steele.
