Robert “Bob” A. Newcomb, 61, of Coweta, OK passed unexpectedly on March 17, 2024 following a sudden and tragic illness surrounded by his loving wife and in spirit, his children, family and friends. Bob was born on October 20, 1962 to Roland F. Newcomb and Mary Louise Strumph in Portland, Maine. He worked as a QA Sr Electrical Engineer at several companies, most recently NEI and PFES.
Bob was truly a one-of-a-kind person. He was quick-witted, intelligent, talented, and dedicated. He loved and cared for his friends and family fiercely, always there as a confidant and a provider. Bob enjoyed time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren, cooking fantastic meals, splashing in the pool, going on excursions, and making memories to cherish.
Bob is survived by his wife, Peggy; his mother Mary Lou Strumph; his children, Natalia, Alexandria, Amber, Annissia, and Nathaniel; his grandchildren, Tyler, Ashlynn, Miles, Calli, Brooklyn, and Khaleesia; his brothers and sister, Richard, Brian, Ron, Greg, Don, and Terry; and many nieces, nephews, as well as extended family members.
His departure comes as a great shock and deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. The family appreciates your support during this difficult time, asking you to encircle them with your prayers. Gone too soon, from this world and his family. Rest in Peace Bob and watch over those who loved you.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at Bob and Peggy’s residence on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 PM.
